Diesel Mechanic

Neos Engineering is working with a large organisation seeking Plant Engineers to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a plant engineer eager to diversify the machinery they work on, particularly in Heavy Rail Machinery.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience in the Heavy Plant sector
• Previous work on brands such as JCB, CAT, Sennebogen, and Colmar
• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plant or Agricultural Machinery

Role Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair Heavy Plant equipment including RRV Excavators, Dumpers, and MEWPS
• Work predominantly in the workshop with mobile responsibilities, using a provided van
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, including diagnostics on diesel engines and hydraulic systems
• Cover the North West region

Candidate Requirements

• Experience with Construction, Quarrying, or Rail Machinery
• Willingness to receive training, and interested in overtime and career progression
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Construction or Agricultural Plant Maintenance
• Full Driving License
