Join us as a Demand Manager/Change Manager for our client the Home Office. At Peregrine, we’re always seeking Specialist Talent that have the ideal mix of skills, experience, and attitude, to place with our vast array of clients.

The Role: As a member of the Hendon Demand team, you will play a leading role in the management of IT related Demand Changes to Services within the Home Office. You will provide prioritisation, visibility and oversight of the demand request pipeline for PPPT on a selection of Police live service systems and teams based in the Hendon Data Centre (HDC). You will work closely with Business Portfolios, Suppliers, Transition, Project Managers and other stakeholders across the Home Office. You will need to work flexibly to manage Changes. These will require rigorous assessment and prioritisation following industry best practice. You will have strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills as well as an ability to prioritise and implement decisions quickly.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing, risk assessing and prioritising changes consistently and appropriately
  • Meticulously validating and assessing the risk and impact of all changes, with a focus on complex changes, ensuring correct stakeholders are identified and engaged to ensure the integrity of the services provided
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with Hendon technical teams, other identified stakeholders and third-party suppliers to ensure that a high quality of service is provided
  • Regularly liaising with the Service Managers and both internal and external Project Managers to understand the work pipeline for their service, project or product
  • Proactively improving stakeholder understanding of the demand process, identifying areas of improvement in operational practices and ensuring lessons learned from previous demand requests are captured and used

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience from performing a similar role (e.g. Demand Manager, BRM)
  • Experience with planning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Ability to lead and work as part of a team and to engage effectively with suppliers and customers
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong sense of ownership and drive to follow tasks through to completion
  • Deeply customer-focused
