A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Delegated Authority Manager to join a reputable Specialist Insurer and oversee due diligence processes whilst managing a team of Due Diligence Analysts to ensure the effective and consistent management of delegated risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure due diligence reviews of coverholders comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify training needs and provide development and support to the Due Diligence team as required.
- Ownership and management of various projects, systems and governance reviews supporting delegated services and ensuring the organization\’s needs are met and remain fit for purpose.
- Enhance and embed Delegated Underwriting and Delegated Claims onboarding processes to meet compliance standards.
- Manage the implementation of Delegated workflow systems, ensuring functionality and accurate reporting.
- Representation at Lloyd’s various committees and working groups governing changing market practice in relation to delegated authority.
- Agreeing and updating Service Level Agreements and ensuring these are in place for all Coverholders with delegated authority and TPAs.
What We\’re Looking For
- Extensive experience in Delegated Authority Management, ideally within a Syndicate, Managing Agent, or Lloyd\’s of London environment.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating end-to-end Delegated Authority Due Diligence and oversight.
- Experienced in managing and coaching teams, driving continuous development and improvement.
- Strong IT literacy with experience using insurance systems and platforms (e.g., open market systems).
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to guide and inspire a team.
- Strong organisational and decision-making abilities.
- Exposure to Audits.
