Hands-on experience in DBA activities such as data maintenance, authorization, privileges, backup, and recovery. Operational support experience, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintenance. Customer-focused with good team relationships. At least 2 years of experience as a DB2 DBA on Mainframes. Creating database objects such as databases, tablespaces, tables, views, and indexes. Supporting Windows applications like Philbert, WinSQL, and NLP. Supporting disaster recovery exercises. Cataloging mainframe databases for open systems access. Resolving user issues, managing access rights. Working with partitioned tables, materialized query tables, and views.
