Skills : Operating Systems: Windows XP, Linux, AIX, AWS EC2 Database: DB2 on open systems Database Tools: db2top, db2advise, db2pd, db2dart, db2look, db2support, SPUFI, QMF, QREP, DB2 Admin tool, Log analyzer Responsibilities include : Providing 24/7 production support. Developing solutions for application teams. Managing logical and physical partitioned databases. Data refreshes, DB2 V10 upgrades, quarterly disaster recovery activities, restorations, backups, and recoveries. Creating DB2 objects like databases, tablespaces, tables, views, and indexes. Supporting Windows applications like Philbert, WinSQL, and NLP. Supporting disaster recovery exercises and cataloging mainframe databases for open systems. Resolving user issues, managing access, working with partitioned tables, materialized query tables, and views.
