A dynamic consultancy based across the UK and Europe is looking for a new Data Protection Manager to assist with their health-tech, med-tech, and bio-tech clients across Europe. You will work directly with the Co-Founder in a start-up environment.

The Role:

  • Assist clients in healthcare either as their DPO or on niche projects like AI use.
  • Advise businesses on data protection aspects such as DPIAs, RoPA, and OneTrust implementation.
  • Navigate complex privacy regulations including EU GDPR, UK GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, CPRA, Swiss FDAP, and the AI Act.
  • Manage Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) ensuring compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and other laws.
  • Organize and conduct privacy training for teams and clients.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Extensive data protection experience in the UK and Europe.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote setting.
  • Experience with OneTrust and Microsoft Notion.
  • Intelligence, curiosity, and passion for the work.
  • Experience in health-tech, clinical trials, or AI applications to patient data.
  • Business development experience is a plus.
  • Must have the right to work in Europe or the UK.
