What You\’ll Do
The Data Operations Analyst role supports the growth and diversification of data services. Responsibilities include:
- Systematic and manual setup and maintenance of reference data against SLAs.
- Providing expertise on reference data, including instrument identifiers, classifiers, corporate actions, product classifications, client hierarchies, and other data sets.
- Monitoring automated data flows and resolving issues promptly.
- Supporting enhancements to data capture and validation processes, including enterprise data management platform implementation.
- Reviewing and improving data processes through automation and robust controls.
- Maintaining accurate instrument reference data across systems in coordination with onboarding and operations teams.
- Producing data quality reports to support operational improvements.
What You\’ll Need
- At least 2 years of data analysis experience in educational, operational, control, or change roles focusing on instrument reference data and analytics.
- Knowledge of global markets, securities, crypto, and derivatives (buy or sell side).
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with quant/technology teams.
- Skill in translating user requests into actionable steps.
- Understanding of databases and data usage, with the ability to interrogate data for insights.
