Location: Hybrid Cambridge (UK) with flexible working from home (Tuesday & Thursday working from our client’s office).

Are you a customer focused individual who loves supporting customers and providing them with an excellent service and experience both online and over the phone? If you said yes to the above and live in the Cambridge area with access to your own car to commute to our client’s offices two days a week, then this role could be perfect for you!
The responsibilities of the Customer Service Advisor:
- Working as part of a seven strong team of Customer Support Advisors, monitor the central e-mail boxes with incoming enquiries (sales, export, service, general product enquiries).
- Create and provide quotations to customers on the SAP business system (both UK and export).
- Create opportunities for all quotations on the SAP business system.
- Administer customer orders on the SAP business system including web order verification. These must be done so with extra care on accuracy (right parts, right quantity, right account, right prices).
- Send pro-forma invoices for payment.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints and log the details on the SAP business system.
- Chase deliveries from suppliers when required.
- Liaise with freight forwarders to confirm delivery of goods.
- Provide support to the field sales team as required.
- Answer and respond to telephone calls within the set targets.
- Assist customers by getting them the right help they need (technical, service, availability etc).
The requirements of the Customer Service Advisor:
- Previous experience in a customer service role with a passion for delivering exceptional levels of service and experience for customers.
- Naturally you will have an excellent telephone manner and be a great problem solver.
- A scientific background by education or experience working in a laboratory would be ideal but not a prerequisite.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle as my client’s offices are on a business park – free parking on site provided.
