TBG is looking to hire an entrepreneurial and commercially minded Customer Business Manager, with prior experience and success on a Grocery account, to manage one of the most strategically important accounts at Tropicana.

In this role, you will:

  • Own and manage one of our most important Grocery accounts to drive sales, market share and profitability for our brands.
  • Develop and execute tailored plans to deliver against KPIs for TBG and for the customer as part of our ongoing business partnership together.
  • Lead commercial negotiations including, but not limited to: joint business planning (JBP), pricing, trade terms and promotional funding.
  • Have strong collaboration internally with other functions including: category team, shopper marketing, brand marketing, supply chain and commercial finance to ensure a seamless plan from strategic, operational and executional viewpoints.
  • Demonstrate strong account management fundamentals including: forecast accuracy, trade spend management, EPOS reporting, JBP management and market performance tracking.
  • Manage an experienced NAE supporting on the account.
  • Play a pivotal leadership role within the wider Grocery team; supporting on delivery of overall sales strategy, promotional analysis, customer relationships and bringing the category story to life.

Skills & Qualifications required to be successful for this role:

  • Account management experience working on the UK’s Top 4 Grocers, preferably in Food & Drink / FMCG environment.
  • A knowledge and understanding of the grocery omnichannel dynamics is desirable i.e: meal deal, convenience, petrol forecourts, online and main estate.
  • A proven track record of delivering and exceeding business targets, with a desire to always achieve more!
  • Exceptional commercial acumen with a detailed understanding and experience of P&L management and modelling.
  • Excellent negotiator, focusing on long-term partnerships and utilising category first data.
  • Competent using and analysing market and customer platform data turning insight into action & strong examples of business and strategic leadership.
  • Able to build best in class customer partnerships and demonstrates ability to manage and influence stakeholders internally and externally.
  • An overall energy to learn, be agile and grow in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
