With stores in London and New York, a global online presence, and partnerships with leading retailers, we deliver timeless essentials rooted in sophistication, comfort, and everyday elegance.
The Role
We are looking for a highly organised, creatively driven Creative Producer to oversee a series of content-led projects across the next 16 weeks. This freelance role will manage multiple photography initiatives from pre-production through to delivery β with a strong focus on e-commerce, editorial, and campaign work. The ideal candidate will bring previous experience producing or creatively directing for fashion or lifestyle brands, and demonstrate an understanding of both the visual ambition and operational requirements of brand content. Youβll be working closely with our in-house teams and freelance talent, based across our London office, studio space in Wandsworth, and remote when appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Ownership: Own the end-to-end production workflow for multiple projects including e-commerce shoots, campaign production, and smaller studio content shoots.
- Creative Oversight: Act as a creative lead on set, partnering with stylists, photographers, and art directors to maintain Varleyβs visual standards.
- On-Set Production: Select and review images live on set, ensuring quality control, consistency, and alignment with brand aesthetic.
- Post-Production Management: Oversee retouching workflows, manage feedback rounds, and ensure timely delivery of final assets.
- Asset Management: Track and organise final content, ensuring all assets are correctly filed, labelled, and delivered to relevant teams.
- Team Coordination: Liaise between internal stakeholders (content, e-comm, marketing) and external crew to ensure clarity on deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities.
- Scheduling & Logistics: Plan shoot dates, manage call sheets, and support location and talent booking as needed.
Who You Are
- A hybrid thinker who thrives at the intersection of creativity and logistics.
- Calm, solution-oriented, and confident managing live environments.
- A strong communicator who can manage multiple stakeholders and keep projects moving smoothly.
- A visual thinker who understands the nuance of fashion photography and content production.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Creative Producer or in a similar hybrid production/creative role within fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce.
- Deep understanding of content creation across stills and motion (ideally across both campaign/editorial and commercial/e-comm settings).
- Strong experience with on-set image selection, creative direction, and overseeing post-production and retouching.
- Excellent project management skills β able to handle multiple overlapping timelines and deliverables.
- Proficient in asset management and workflow tools (e.g., Capture One, Dropbox, Miro, Google Drive).
- Comfortable working on-site in London and available for flexible on-set support during production periods.
What We Offer
- The opportunity to work with a fast-growing, design-led brand at an exciting time of creative development.
- Immersion in a collaborative, quality-focused team environment.
- A dynamic schedule with varied projects across e-commerce, lifestyle, and creative content.
Compensation
This is a freelance position for a fixed term of 16 weeks. Day rate is competitive and commensurate with experience.
