Social network you want to login/join with: Next Ventures is seeking an experienced Freelance Coupa Consultant to lead and support a Coupa Procure-to-Pay (P2P) implementation project with our client in London. Start Date: May/June Location: London, UK Duration: 6 months + ext Responsibilities: Provide expert guidance and leadership throughout the Coupa P2P implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering to go-live and post-implementation support. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables related to Coupa configuration. Identify project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies. Work with the Project Manager to ensure project stays on track and within budget. Requirements Gathering & Solution Design: Conduct detailed business requirements gathering sessions with key stakeholders across procurement, finance, and other relevant departments. Analyze client\’s existing P2P processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization. Design and configure the Coupa solution to meet the client\’s specific business needs, adhering to Coupa best practices. Create functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and other relevant project documentation. Perform hands-on configuration of the Coupa platform, including core modules such as Purchasing, Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, and Supplier Management. Configure workflows, approval routings, and business rules within Coupa. Manage data migration activities, including data cleansing, mapping, and loading. Develop and execute test plans (unit, system, and user acceptance testing) to ensure the quality and integrity of the Coupa solution. Integration & Technical Support: Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement integrations between Coupa and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, Finance). Provide support for technical aspects of the Coupa implementation, including troubleshooting and issue resolution. Work with Coupa support to resolve complex technical issues. Training and Change Management: Develop and deliver end-user training materials and conduct training sessions. Assist in change management activities to ensure user adoption of the new Coupa system. Provide post-implementation support and knowledge transfer to the client\’s internal team. Qualifications: Bachelor\’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Coupa P2P implementations, with a strong understanding of Coupa\’s functionality and best practices. Proven experience in leading and supporting at least 2-3 full-cycle Coupa P2P implementations. Deep knowledge of procure-to-pay processes, including requisitioning, purchase order management, invoicing, supplier management, and contract management. Strong understanding of system integration concepts and experience with integration tools and technologies (e.g., APIs, cXML). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal). Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Experience working with clients in a consulting environment is highly preferred.
