Job Description:

My client, a top-tier, award-winning law firm with unrivaled expertise in communications and technology law, is recruiting for a Corporate Social Responsibility Manager on a permanent basis. This role offers a fantastic opportunity within a forward-thinking and friendly environment.

The Corporate Social Responsibility Manager will play a significant role in advancing the firm\’s Responsible Business and Sustainability initiatives, supporting the firm to become a global leader in these areas.

The key duties include:

• Acting as the central contact for Responsible Business matters across the firm, providing guidance and advice on sustainability projects such as office relocations.
• Overseeing Responsible Business governance, including managing the Responsible Business Committee and internal network groups.
• Developing impact measurement tools and KPIs for the Responsible Business programme.
• Enhancing the firm’s employer-supported volunteering initiatives across all offices, ensuring inclusivity.
• Producing an annual Responsible Business Report.
• Managing the annual carbon audit data collection for scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, in line with Science-Based Targets reporting requirements.
• Collaborating with senior leadership and external consultants to implement the firm’s net zero transition plan.
• Participating in Responsible Business indexes and surveys such as EcoVadis and CDP, and liaising with departments to implement recommendations.
• Managing relationships with the firmwide charity partner and measuring the partnership’s success.
• Developing new Responsible Business policies to foster change across the firm.
• Engaging staff and promoting Responsible Business initiatives through meetings and internal events.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a dedicated Responsible Business role, preferably within professional services. They should possess a solid understanding of market trends, relevant legislation, and be a collaborative, motivated individual capable of influencing stakeholders and passionate about sustainability.
