Are you considering a move offshore in 2025? Our offshore clients are growing across the Channel Islands, the Cayman Islands, Bermuda, and the British Virgin Islands. If you are career-minded, ambitious, and excited by the idea of making a life-changing move, there has perhaps never been a better time to consider the offshore world.
The major offshore firms field teams of lawyers who are predominantly ex-Magic/Silver Circle or from the premier US, Australasian or international law firms. You will be advising on the offshore elements of major international transactions. It is fast-moving and varied work, requiring the intellectual and commercial agility to manage multiple matters at any one time. Technical excellence alone is not enough to become a successful offshore lawyer.
Partnership is a very realistic ambition, as is the potential to work across multiple offshore locations. Tax rates offshore range from zero to 20% and salaries from good to outstanding.
