A leading, international and attractive Lloyd\’s of London Broker, who has a glowing reputation within the current market, now have an exciting position within the company\’s International Construction Division.

Our client is seeking a skilled and driven Broker (or Account Handler looking to step up) to facilitate the placement of insurance and reinsurance contracts, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional client service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on designated risks within the dynamic International Construction sector, with a focus on North American Risks.

Role Description

This client and market-facing Broker role involves collaborating with the team to manage and grow a portfolio of Construction Risks. You will provide first-class service, build and maintain client and market relationships, negotiate terms with Underwriters, and place complex risks. Business travel may be required.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 18 months to 7 years of London Market experience (aligned with the team’s budget and structure)
• Experience in US Construction Risks (US Property experience will also be considered)
• Lloyd\’s Broking experience (as a Broker, Broker Tech / Account Handler, or Account Executive)
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to network and develop/maintain client and market relationships
