Are you looking to make a real impact in a growing defence business? Our client is building out their Commercial team and is seeking a Commercial Manager to support their Head of Commercial in bidding for and managing MoD contracts. This role will be based in a newly created division in the UK.
The Role
As Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in bidding, contracts, and commercial strategy, helping to secure and manage MoD contracts across various defence categories. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will help drive the business forward, ensuring compliance, risk management, and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and manage bid processes for MoD contracts, ensuring competitive and compliant proposals
- Assist with contract negotiation, review, and management, ensuring commercial best practices
- Advise on commercial risks, compliance, and industry regulations
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth contract execution and business growth
- Support the development of commercial strategies to help scale the business
