Pepper Advantage is one of the leading specialist loan servicing companies in the UK, currently seeking a Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist to join our growing team in Uxbridge, London. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in customer service and mortgage administration, particularly in a commercial and regulated loans environment. We are interested in candidates with experience in residential and buy-to-let mortgages, especially with limited companies, and who possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
Main responsibilities include:
- Communicating regularly with customers facing payment difficulties
- Negotiating arrears workout options such as arrangements, capitalisation, workouts, shortfall sales, etc.
- Monitoring agreed strategies and taking appropriate action per the Special Servicing Manual
- Creating and submitting referrals to line managers for requests outside the mandate
- Handling inbound and outbound customer and third-party calls related to arrears and collections, providing excellent service
- Processing loan administration activities accurately and promptly
- Maintaining communication with customers and clients
- Conducting primary servicing activities

This is a hybrid role requiring up to three days/week office attendance following initial office-based training. Ideal candidates will have experience with residential and buy-to-let mortgages, phone-based customer service experience, insolvency/collections knowledge, understanding of legal and compliance requirements, risk assessment skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, self-motivation, and the ability to work within internal controls and meet deadlines.
