Job Description:

An exciting multi-channel retailer is currently recruiting for a commercially focused Finance Director, who will sit on the leadership team and help shape and drive the business forward in both their UK and international expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all commercial finance matters and implement best-in-class processes suitable for high growth periods.
• Partner with department heads to understand key issues and business drivers.
• Educate store teams on the importance of accuracy, budgets vs forecasts, etc.
• Co-lead fundraising activities.
• Guide the company’s strategy and oversee both short-term and long-term planning.
• Manage core finance functions such as Month-End Close as the head of Finance.
• Act as the escalation point for external auditors during the annual audit process.

Qualifications and Experience:

• CIMA, ACA, or ACCA qualification with several years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong leadership experience managing and developing high-performance teams.
• PE/VC experience is desirable but not essential.
• Fundraising experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience in the consumer industry is preferred.
