As we embark on our next phase of expansion, weβre looking for a Commercial Director to take ownership of scaling our commercial function globally. Our culture values autonomy, accountability, and collaboration - perfect for someone eager to build and manage a high-impact function.
The Role
The Commercial Director will lead and shape our global commercial strategy, a role with huge scope and growth potential. Based in the UK, you will be responsible for structuring and expanding a high performing commercial team - initially within the UK, followed by the USA and other territories. You will secure major revenue accounts and will partner with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to develop and execute growth strategies. This is a strategic leadership role that requires a hands-on, process driven approach, a track record of success in scaling revenue generation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure, grow, and lead a high-performing commercial team across multiple regions.
- Recruit a team of BDMs & AMs, building a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Develop budgets, forecasts and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and ensure that commercial targets are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate closely with the SLT to design and implement comprehensive growth strategies for territory expansion in both our e-commerce business and sales function.
- Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor activities, identifying and pursuing product, market & vertical expansion opportunities.
Revenue Generation
- Secure larger client accounts (enterprise and wholesale) that align with our strategic business goals.
- Develop and execute pricing strategies, contract negotiations and long-term channel partnership frameworks to maximise revenue and profitability.
- Oversee key account management strategies, ensuring a focus on client retention, satisfaction and referrals.
Process Design and Product Scaling
- Drive operational excellence by establishing robust commercial processes, playbooks and analytic frameworks for delivery across different markets.
- Work cross-functionally with our operations, tech and marketing teams, establishing an ongoing feedback loop that informs business and product strategy and service creation.
About You
- Experience in commercial leadership roles, preferably in a global environment.
- Proven success in building, managing and scaling high-performing commercial teams.
- Track record of driving significant revenue growth and securing large-scale accounts.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Experience in using and owning CRM (HubSpot) and automation tools.
- Experience in Hospitality, SaaS or B2B industries (nice to have but not required).
