We are working with a leisure-focused business providing hospitality & leisure venues across the UK with strong food concepts. The UK tourist sector is booming, and this company is in a strong growth phase. They are seeking a new Commercial Director to oversee ROI, risk management, new commercial opportunities, sponsorships, and partnerships. Leadership and coaching skills are essential, with a strong sales and marketing background being key.
This role is central to the business, reporting directly to the CEO. Responsibilities include developing the brand, working with partners, hiring during growth, managing onsite and offsite promotions, marketing, partnerships, and concept launches. The executive team will include the CEO, CFO, and yourself, collectively responsible for strategy and growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Strategic oversight of the operated business and brands;
- End-to-end oversight of venue relaunch and opening;
- Management of operational teams onsite and related operations;
- Oversight of the core business and external promotions;
- Branding for new concepts by the marketing team;
- Integration with delivery aggregator marketing plans;
- Support with fundraising and board management alongside CEO & CFO;
- Contribute to company strategy and vision;
- Innovative thinking for business evolution;
- Analyze market research data for business planning;
- Work diligently, make quick decisions, and organize effectively in chaos.
