Job Description:
We are looking to employ the right candidate to work alongside our existing workshop team to keep up with demand. The role is predominantly workshop-based, with weekends during race season on a rota basis.
We require a motivated and enthusiastic technician with a passion for all things classic/performance car and a keen interest in racing. The work is fast-paced and eclectic, allowing you to work on a wide range of classic vehicles from Morris Minors to 450bhp thoroughbred race cars!
The individual must be self-motivated and able to manage their own workload while being a team player, as we are a small business that requires everyone to contribute.
They must have experience in classic car repair and diagnosis, with knowledge of carburettor systems, kingpins, and old car electrics, as well as modern vehicle systems such as injection, modern electrics, and ECUs.
We offer a competitive salary, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, paid overtime, and a flexible working environment.

Experience:
- Proven experience as a classic car technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, with proficiency in vehicle electrics.
- Familiarity with operating power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents, including schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients, as race days are very client-focused and one-on-one.
