We are seeking a seasoned Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to lead our capital markets strategy, institutional fundraising, and investment management operations. This leadership position offers the opportunity to shape the financial future of a high-growth digital finance company operating at the intersection of fintech and blockchain.
Position OverviewThe CIO will be responsible for defining and executing our investment strategy, managing external capital relationships, and evaluating internal and external investment opportunities. Working closely with the executive team and board of directors, the CIO will oversee capital allocation, M&A opportunities, and long-term portfolio planning across business units and treasury functions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead company-wide investment planning, capital strategy, and deployment initiatives
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with venture capital firms, institutional investors, and strategic funding partners
- Oversee fundraising efforts across equity financing models
- Evaluate M&A opportunities, external partnerships, and joint ventures for strategic alignment
- Provide detailed investment and performance reporting to stakeholders and board members
- Manage treasury operations and digital asset portfolio strategy in line with regulatory and financial standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, product, and operations teams on capital and investment decisions
- Represent the company in external investment forums, investor discussions, and capital markets outreach
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment strategy, private equity, venture capital, corporate development, or asset management
- Strong track record of raising capital, managing portfolios, and executing investment deals
- In-depth knowledge of fintech, payments, blockchain, and Web3 financial ecosystems
- Experience leading cross-border investment strategies and institutional engagement
- Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, negotiation, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field required; MBA or CFA designation is preferred
- Prior experience as CIO, Managing Director, General Partner, or Head of Investments in a high-growth financial or tech company
- Familiarity with token economics, decentralized finance, and regulated digital asset structures
- Understanding of global regulatory environments for fintech and crypto-related investments
