Category Growth Specialist / Key Account Manager – Food & Beverages / FMCG | Rapidly Scaling Food & Beverages / FMCG Giant | £55k + 20% Bonus | London (Hybrid)

They seek a Category Growth Specialist / Key Account Manager to develop and execute category strategies, taking responsibility for a diverse range of Beverages and Snacking (confectionery, crisps, nuts, etc.) related spend in order to deliver value add, cost savings, drive sustainability agendas, mitigate supply chain risk, and contribute to category growth and innovation.

Responsibilities:
- Create category strategies and income growth plans by identifying market opportunities to develop the company and range offering to deliver quality and growth margins.
- Develop and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders/suppliers to collaborate and deliver cost savings and category innovations/growth on Food & Beverage related spend.
- Performance, account, and contract management of existing suppliers across Food & Beverages related spend to maximize cost savings, win, and retain clients.
Required Experience:
- Strong commercial acumen and end-to-end direct procurement experience within Food & Beverages categories within the Foodservice, FMCG, Hospitality, Wholesale, or Contract Catering industries.
- Demonstrable experience focused in category management or account management.
- Strong negotiation skills, strong communicator, and the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders/suppliers to influence buy-in and drive forward category strategies.
