Overview

As a Corporate Sales Executive at ViewSonic, you will be responsible for driving sales and business development of our LCD product category (and potentially IFP/CD products) within the UK through a two-tier channel model. This role involves direct field visits, proactive telesales outreach, and home-based working. You will act as a brand ambassador for ViewSonic, generating excitement within the customer base, cultivating new business opportunities, and expanding unmanaged accounts, while also managing existing reseller relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain productive, professional, and influential relationships with distribution partners, resellers, and end users. Manage an assigned client base while actively seeking new business opportunities.
  • Business Development: Develop the unmanaged customer base through structured telesales campaigns and prospecting activities. Conduct regular telesales outreach to engage prospects and increase market share. Perform targeted site visits to key resellers and prospects, complementing telesales efforts.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Collaborate with the Product Team (BLM) to drive sales through distributors, resellers, and e-tailers. Manage relationships with distribution partners, including forecasting, stock planning, and promotions. Monitor market activity, provide value propositions, handle objections, and support competitive positioning. Analyze sales forecasts, POS reports, and marketing data to meet or exceed targets. Implement sales incentives and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaboration and Events: Work with UK Sales, Product Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to align strategies. Attend trade shows, conduct seminars, and participate in promotional events. Maintain regular contact with clients via site visits, calls, and emails. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and demands. Provide sales and product training to customers as needed. Communicate product information, pricing, and obtain sales data. Share market intelligence and competitor insights. Collaborate internally to ensure a unified market approach. Support ViewSonic’s brand through excellent service and customer satisfaction.

Hybrid Working Structure

Primarily home-based, with travel for face-to-face meetings, site visits, and events. Telesales activities from home to maximize reach. Approximately 2–3 days/week for telesales, reporting, and collaboration; 1–2 days for site visits or in-person meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven success in B2B sales, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Existing relationships with distribution partners and resellers in the IT channel.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the IT channel, with a strong understanding of channel dynamics and sales processes.
