About the role :

As a Regulated Bridging Underwriter with our company, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and determining the feasibility of loan applications.

1. Underwrite and assess loan documentation, including valuation reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance with lending policies and regulations.
2. Conduct comprehensive checks on applicants and properties to evaluate their suitability for the loan, identifying any concerns or discrepancies.
3. Proactively communicate with brokers and stakeholders to obtain additional information and provide updates on application status.
4. Collaborate with introducers, valuers, and solicitors to facilitate smooth loan processing and address issues.
5. Support colleagues on underwriting and mortgage completion matters, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
6. Manage decisions on inquiries and new applications within set time frames, emphasizing responsiveness and customer satisfaction.
7. Contribute to improving the company\’s lending services by identifying enhancement opportunities and implementing innovative solutions.
