Position Overview
As a Brand Manager, you will develop and execute marketing strategies for a portfolio of products. You will work closely with internal teams and external agencies, managing the entire marketing lifecycle from ideation to evaluation. Your expertise will contribute to strategic discussions, budget optimization, and driving sales and brand growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement brand & marketing strategies
- Contribute to strategic discussions to optimize marketing & sales budgets
- Oversee the marketing lifecycle from development to evaluation
- Lead partner review meetings, demonstrating expertise in category, brand, and marketing
- Create presentations for brand partners, customers, and internal stakeholders
- Manage agencies for outsourced activities
- Conduct product and audience analysis to identify growth opportunities through innovation and activation
- Manage sales, expenditure budgets, and sales forecasts
- Mentor and develop direct reports
Skills & Experience Required
- 5-6 years' brand marketing experience, ideally in FMCG or OTC healthcare; other regulated markets considered
- Knowledge of grocery and/or pharmacy trade channels
- Proven success in creating and implementing brand plans
- Understanding of financial KPIs affecting P&L (ROI, promotions, stock management, COGS)
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong influencing skills in strategy, analysis, and communication
- Independent and team-oriented work style
- Pragmatic, organized, capable of multitasking and reprioritizing
