Role Description

Supporting the Editor-in-Chief with writing, editing and managing the day-to-day operations throughout the publication process for a luxury illustrated book – which will be printed in English and French. Serve as the primary editorial liaison between Wallpaper*, Client, and other text partners and agencies. Lead the editorial process, ensuring alignment between all stakeholders and maintaining text consistency, quality and tone. Manage internal and external editorial reviews and oversee the implementation of feedback. Ensure all text deliverables meet the brand standards, tone of voice, style guides and terminology.

Editorial Support

  • Ability to speak, read and write fluently in French and English.
  • Develop and lead content writing, text edits and rewrites following Client's feedback and reviews across different deliverables.
  • Brief and manage contributing writers to ensure submitted text meets requirements.
  • Manage the workflow throughout the publication process - collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines of all projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality editorial materials.
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure text integration aligns with visual storytelling.
  • Report to the Editor-in-Chief and provide regular updates on editorial progress.
