Are you highly organised, detail-driven and thrive under pressure? We are looking for a proactive and dynamic Bid Specialist to join our client near Reading and play a key role in delivering high-quality, competitive proposals that win business. Working closely with the Bid Manager, you’ll be at the front of the proposal and tender processes, coordinating every stage from initial opportunity tracking through to final submission. This role offers the perfect blend of writing, organising, liaising and project managing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the end-to-end bid process, from early-stage coordination to submission
  • Writing and editing compelling proposal content, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs
  • Collaborating across departments to gather input and ensure deadlines are hit without compromising on quality
  • Managing documentation, maintaining proposal standards and ensuring submissions reflect our brand and values

Requirements

  • Experience with PQQ or ITT or RFP
  • A team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Organised, calm under pressure and able to juggle multiple priorities effortlessly
  • Confident using Microsoft Office particularly Excel
  • Excellent writing skills
  • A self-starter who’s motivated, reliable and not afraid to take initiative
