Bid Manager - National remit, hybrid role, 2-3 days in Bedford office. If you are an experienced Bid Manager looking to take the next step in your career and join a company that will give you full autonomy to design and implement a structured bid management process, that will be followed by any future Bid Managers who join the business, then this is a fantastic opportunity for you.
Working both from home and the brand new head office in Bedford, you will work closely with their dynamic sales team, made up of both Account Managers and Business Development Managers, as well as various other internal stakeholders within the operations team; taking full control of all aspects of the Bidding/Tender process from pre-engagement to submission and post-bid analysis.
Your day to day will involve maintaining and updating a bid library and tender pipeline within Salesforce, leading value proposition sessions and developing bid storyboards, monitoring tender portals & identifying relevant opportunities for Movianto, as well as putting together compelling and professional bids & tenders demonstrating the companies world class supply-chain solution to organisations within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and diagnostics sector across the UK.
When putting bids/tenders together you will need to ensure you are doing your due diligence to deliver competitive proposals, researching client requirements, industry trends, and competitors to strengthen proposals and ensure success. In addition, you will need to be highly organised and efficient, ensuring all key stakeholders internally are aware of timescales and deadlines and stay on track for these to be achieved.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing bids and tenders in a corporate, B2B setting.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Prior experience dealing with the NHS/Public Sector or wider healthcare industry that would be highly advantageous.
- Experience within logistics, warehousing, or transport would also be a strong advantage.
The Package for the successful candidate will be:
- Basic salary up to £55k dependent on experience.
