We’re seeking a self-starter with AWS experience to join a talented tech team. You’ll report directly to the Principal Engineer, who values initiative, ownership, and curiosity.
What You’ll Do:- Own and manage core AWS infrastructure – from EC2, S3, FSx, to IAM.
- Take charge of AWS admin and automation tasks, including deployments, auto-scaling, and data pipeline management.
- Work independently, taking ownership of problems and delivering practical solutions with minimal hand-holding.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers to support and improve automation around large-scale data operations.
- Use your Python or Bash scripting skills to optimize and automate infrastructure and data workflows.
- Play a key role in the evolution of the DevOps practices, helping define best-in-class systems for a cloud-native environment.
- Proven experience with AWS – particularly with EC2, S3, IAM, FSX.
- Have 2-5 Years experience, confident enough to hit the ground running.
- A problem-solver who’s comfortable teaching themselves new skills and technologies.
- Experience with Python or similar scripting languages.
- Bonus: Some knowledge of CloudFormation, though it’s not a primary focus.
- Work directly with top-tier engineers and industry experts.
- Contribute to mission-critical infrastructure in a tech-first environment.
