We cover the latest developments and trends in the industry.
We're looking for a motivated and multi-skilled journalist to join our editorial team and produce content for our website and magazine. This is an interesting opportunity to cover the business side of one of the most exciting industries.
What you’ll do:
- Monitor the latest news and business trends in the pet industry
- Prepare investigative/in-depth articles for our website and magazine
- Be in touch with key industry players and companies
- Reach out to and interview relevant sources
- Proactively pitch your own story ideas
What you bring to the table:
- At least 2 years’ previous business news reporting experience
- Previous experience in a B2B environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Expertise in gathering news and managing/contacting sources
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to grasp complex topics and explain them in concise language
- Ability to interpret and analyse key business trends
Nice to haves:
- Experience in covering business-related topics (company earnings, IPOs, merger and acquisitions, start-ups...)
- Comfortable working with data (surveys, data reports, data sets...) and turning those insights into compelling stories
- You can speak multiple languages
Location: Remote (Based in the Central European Time zone, or one timezone off.)
