The Role:
- We’re looking for an Azure-based UI Developer with hands-on experience in React and Microsoft Authentication using MSAL, B2C, and OpenID.
Key responsibilities:
- Building dynamic and responsive user interfaces aligned with the GDS standards.
- Presenting ideas clearly and communicating effectively.
- Contributing to and developing UI experiences within a wider technology platform.
- Working within a multi-pipeline DevOps environment.
- Reviewing pull requests for new and existing projects.
- Ensuring compliance with WC3 standards and Government AA accessibility requirements.
- Applying performance and build optimization techniques for NPM packages.
- Implementing both server-side and client-side performance improvements.
- Writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Collaborating within Agile Teams.
Your Profile:
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- MSAL.
- Git.
- Build tools: Webpack and Rollup.
- CSS/SCSS/SCSS Modules.
- Experience with micro-fronted architecture.
- Familiarity with UX tools such as Figma and the Adobe Suite.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design, Security management, Caching techniques, Cloud technologies, PowerShell.
- Involvement in the architecture/design of new or existing applications (e.g., micro frontends, design patterns, scaling automation).
- Ability to work independently under minimal or no supervision.
- Comfortable leading technical conversations and steering calls when needed.
