Let’s be honest… stock condition surveys aren’t glamorous. But they are important. And if you’re someone who gets genuine satisfaction from helping social housing providers understand and improve their assets, this could be your defining career move. I’m working with a national property and planning consultancy that’s looking for an Associate Partner to join their Housing Consultancy team. It’s a great opportunity for someone who knows their way around social housing, enjoys leading projects, and maybe likes a good spreadsheet on occasion too.

The role is focused on stock condition surveys and asset management work for housing providers across the UK. You’ll be delivering high-quality work, supporting a team, building strong relationships with clients, and helping the business grow while you’re at it. It’s a senior role and you’ll have real influence, but it’s also hands-on. If you’re happy switching between site visits, project planning, mentoring, and the occasional client pitch (sometimes with biscuits, but no promises), it’s probably right up your street. There’s also an element of progression planning in this position as well, with a defined and clear promotion career path there for you to step up to Partner in a couple of years.

What they’re after:

  • Experience in social housing consultancy or asset management at a social housing provider (you know how this world works)
  • Good with spreadsheets, organised and able to handle multiple projects at once across several sites
  • Confident communicator, good with clients, and commercially switched on
  • Happy to travel and stay away as necessary

What’s on offer:

  • £70k–£80k salary depending on experience
  • Private medical cover
  • Bonus for bringing in new business

If you’re looking for a role where you can shape strategy, lead a high-performing team, and still feel like a human at the end of the week, then send your CV through to Ed Collins by applying to this advert, or call 0161 607 5084 for a conversation in confidence.
