Associate Director, Field Medical Advisor

Remote, UK

Start Date: ASAP

Join a biotech leader driving the future of mRNA-based therapies with a diverse pipeline targeting major health challenges. We are seeking an experienced Field Medical Advisor with a strong vaccines background to engage with the medical and healthcare community in the UK.

You will act as a key scientific resource, building relationships with healthcare practitioners, policy makers, and patient advocacy groups, sharing research and clinical data. This role requires strategic thinking, scientific expertise, and ethical engagement to foster trust and scientific exchange.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Scientific Engagement Plans aligned with strategic objectives and healthcare challenges.
  • Translate complex scientific data into clear insights for diverse audiences using digital tools.
  • Analyze medical intelligence to understand healthcare trends and stakeholder priorities.
  • Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and stakeholders to identify unmet needs and facilitate dialogue.
  • Serve as a scientific resource for advisory boards, conferences, and medical engagement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory frameworks; act as Final Signatory for medical communications when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD).
  • 4+ years in Medical Affairs, clinical development, or field medical roles focusing on vaccines.
  • Experience as a Final Signatory under the ABPI Code of Practice.
  • Expertise in immunology, infectious diseases, or vaccine therapies.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and relationship skills.
  • Proficiency in English; willingness to travel up to 75% within the region.
