Associate Director, Field Medical Advisor
Remote, UK

Join a biotech leader driving the future of mRNA-based therapies with a diverse pipeline targeting major health challenges. We are seeking an experienced Field Medical Advisor with a strong vaccines background to play a critical role in engaging with the medical and healthcare community in the UK.
You will act as a key scientific resource, building impactful relationships with healthcare practitioners, policy makers, and patient advocacy groups, while sharing the latest research and clinical data. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, scientific expertise, and ethical engagement to foster trust and drive scientific exchange.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored Scientific Engagement Plans that align with strategic objectives and address key healthcare challenges.
- Translate complex scientific data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences, utilizing digital tools and communication platforms.
- Gather and analyze medical intelligence to understand evolving healthcare trends and stakeholder priorities.
- Cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and stakeholders to identify unmet medical needs and facilitate scientific dialogue.
- Serve as a scientific resource for advisory boards, conferences, and other medical engagement activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant ethical and regulatory frameworks, acting as a Final Signatory for medical communications when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD required).
- 4+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, clinical development, or field medical roles with a focus on vaccines.
- Experience as a Final Signatory under the ABPI Code of Practice.
- Proven expertise in immunology, infectious diseases, or vaccine-related therapies.
- Strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
- Business proficiency in English; willingness to travel up to 75% within the region.
