Job Title: Associate Director – Cost Consultant

We are seeking an experienced and driven Associate Director – Cost Consultant to join a dynamic and growing team in London. This is a key leadership role within a well-established real estate consultancy renowned for delivering large-scale masterplan and residential developments across the UK.

As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for leading high-profile projects and managing internal teams to provide strategic cost consultancy services throughout the full development lifecycle—from acquisition to practical completion. You will work closely with clients, project stakeholders, and senior leadership to ensure best-in-class delivery, commercial control, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver cost consultancy services across multiple residential and mixed-use schemes.
• Manage and mentor a team of cost consultants and support staff.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to business development and the strategic growth of the cost consultancy function.
• Oversee project finances, procurement strategies, and risk management.
• Support the development of internal processes, training, and team capability.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the UK construction industry, with a strong cost consultancy background.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• MRICS qualified or holding another relevant professional qualification.
• Demonstrated success in nurturing client relationships and delivering commercially successful outcomes.
• Experience in coaching and developing junior team members.
• Passionate about the real estate and construction industry, with a deep understanding of market trends and challenges.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
