Job Title: Associate Director – Cost Consultant

Location: London (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced and driven Associate Director – Cost Consultant to join a dynamic and growing team in London. This is a key leadership role within a well-established real estate consultancy renowned for delivering large-scale masterplan and residential developments across the UK.

As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for leading high-profile projects and managing internal teams to provide strategic cost consultancy services throughout the full development lifecycleβ€”from acquisition to practical completion. You will work closely with clients, project stakeholders, and senior leadership to ensure best-in-class delivery, commercial control, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver cost consultancy services across multiple residential and mixed-use schemes.
  • Manage and mentor a team of cost consultants and support staff.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to business development and the strategic growth of the cost consultancy function.
  • Oversee project finances, procurement strategies, and risk management.
  • Support the development of internal processes, training, and team capability.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the UK construction industry, with a strong cost consultancy background.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • MRICS qualified or holding another relevant professional qualification.
  • Demonstrated success in nurturing client relationships and delivering commercially successful outcomes.
  • Experience in coaching and developing junior team members.
  • Passionate about the real estate and construction industry, with a deep understanding of market trends and challenges.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
