Salary Range: £25,482 - £28,118 + excellent benefits

Role Location: The Eaves Learning Centre, Westbury

Located in Westbury, our fully integrated therapeutic, education, and care services enable young people to realize their full potential while developing social and emotional resilience. We provide wraparound education, therapy, and care 24/7, 365 days a year.

Our clinicians are vital to our joined-up SEND model, offering extensive clinical support across all our specialist schools and children’s homes. Our young people often present with complex needs, including developmental trauma, neuro-developmental conditions, and special educational needs.

Responsibilities of an Assistant Psychologist:

  • Develop skills in building relationships with children and young people.
  • Engage in assessments and interventions under the supervision of a qualified psychologist.
  • Support educational and residential staff to create therapeutic living and learning environments.
  • Provide individualized interventions based on clinical assessments and formulations.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A degree in Psychology or equivalent, eligible for graduate BPS membership.
  • Experience working with young people with developmental trauma, autism, SEMH, or ADHD.
  • Resilience to handle challenging situations.

  • Honesty and empathy towards young people and colleagues.
