Now what? Another year or two of unpaid overtime, long nights, and unclear progression? If you’re already questioning what the traditional path really offers, you\’re not alone. And more importantly, this could be the opportunity to do things differently, without stepping away from the industry you trained for. Use Your Architectural Skills to Lead the Design Process One of London’s most forward-thinking architecture studios is offering a rare, in-house opportunity for a recently qualified architect to transition into design management . You’ll be part of a specialist team working on large-scale, high-profile projects – guiding programmes, structuring workflows, and ensuring delivery stays aligned with the design vision. This is a pivotal early-career move into a pathway where strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication take centre stage. What Makes This Different: Early access to landmark projects from flagship UK cultural schemes to international aviation, luxury hospitality destinations and global masterplans. A shift away from production, with a new focus on project planning, coordination, and team delivery . Active involvement in creating schedules, design route maps, and coordination protocols that underpin the creative process. Responsibility for client-facing documentation – from meeting agendas and trackers to status updates and design programmes. Daily interaction with industry-leading designers, consultants, and stakeholders, giving you visibility and voice from day one. A fast-tracked, future-proofed career trajectory that can lead to leadership, client-side roles, or international opportunities. You Might Be the Right Fit If You Have: 0-5 years post-Part III experience in a UK-based design-led practice. Exposure to large-scale or complex architectural projects (UK or International). A solid understanding of architectural workflows and how projects are programmed. Experience contributing to project schedules, timelines, or coordination processes. Excellent written and verbal communication – you’re clear, calm, and confident. An instinct for organisation and structure – you spot issues before they escalate and bring clarity where there’s uncertainty. What You’ll Gain: The chance to carve out a strategic career path within architecture , without being confined to traditional design roles. Ongoing development from leaders who’ve supported dozens of others into senior roles across design and project management. A competitive salary that reflects your contribution, not just your output. A healthier work/life balance, where evenings and weekends are respected. A respected name on your CV and exposure to internationally significant projects. A Better Career in Architecture Starts with Better Questions If you’re asking them and want something more than what the traditional pathway offers, send your CV to Reece at Grõ Careers . This is your opportunity to stay in the industry and step into its future. #J-18808-Ljbffr
