Exciting Opportunity: Structure Mechanic Role on the Wedgetail Project

Join us in Birmingham for a role focused on converting B737NGs into the impressive E-7A Wedgetail.

Ideal Candidates: Those with a background in avionics and the necessary certifications, such as EWIS and Fuel Tank Safety certificates, or willing to obtain them.

Project Requirements:

• Security Clearance: Must be clearable.
• Trade Test: Required to meet Boeing standards.
• Right to Work in UK: Essential.

Compensation and Contract Details:

• Perm: Up to £60K
• Contract: Minimum 12 months
• Shifts: Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, 7am to 7pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret diagrams, blueprints, Engineering Orders, and Schematics.
• Understand NAS 523 Cross details.
• Assess Bend Allowances, Offsets, Edge Distances, and spacing to determine and install fasteners.
• Install various fasteners such as Rivets, Hi-Loks, Flush Rivets, and Countersunk Rivets in various applications.
