The role of Account Manager:
As an Account Manager at this agency, you will play an integral part by representing the company through faultless account management and client services. You will work as a team leader for Account Managers, responsible for ensuring major clients receive the best service for all projects. You will lead the day-to-day tasks of assigned clients, while planning resources and identifying opportunities for future growth and value addition. You should be able to evaluate and adapt to changing situations, respond agilely, and handle difficult conversations professionally without escalation. You will collaborate within the creative project management team to ensure a thorough understanding of procedures and processes.
Duties and Responsibilities of Account Manager:
- Managing account P&L across projects managed by the team
- Producing Cost Estimates and POs for clients and suppliers
- Maintaining regular email communication with clients to keep them informed throughout projects
- Monitoring team performance and conducting regular reviews for development
- Developing team skills and knowledge
- Overseeing team processes and evaluating ways of working
- Building strong client relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensuring delivery aligns with client goals and objectives
- Attending installations for large-scale projects in the UK, Europe, and ROW
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience within a shopper agency, managing shopper-led projects/accounts
- Experience in on and off trade marketing
- Significant client-facing experience with excellent engagement skills
- Proven success in leading profitable projects with high-profile clients
- Ability to grow and expand business
- Strong managerial and team leadership skills
- Ideally, knowledge of design, materials, and technical drawings
