Support the Accessories team (Leathergoods & Licensing Director and Product Development Manager) in delivering the end-to-end development process of the Accessories division, including Bags, Belts, Footwear, Jewellery, and Special Projects.
The PD Assistant will provide essential administrative and organisational support to ensure the smooth running of the product cycle, including:
- Maintaining all product data in the PLM system, managing the library of raw materials, and prototypes;
- Sampling and responding to internal and external requests promptly;
Responsibilities include:
- Uploading and maintaining new collection data on the PLM system;
- Creating and following up on Purchase Orders;
- Compiling visual plans for all accessories categories for internal communication;
- Supporting the Product Development Manager with tech packs for suppliers, including specifications and pre-production comments;
- Liaising with suppliers on shipments, tracking, and delivery monitoring;
- Coordinating with internal E-commerce and Creative teams for accessories samples for shoots and instructing retouching of images;
- Preparing for Design and Product Development Meetings by organizing prototypes, raw materials, color cards, and room setups, and attending to track decisions and updates;
- Managing samples by maintaining an up-to-date tracker with images, monitoring external and internal lending for shoots, press, and gifting, and labelling/archiving samples;
- Maintaining a library of raw materials for quick access;
- Supporting with product and material information, including composition, HTS codes, and tech sheets;
- Assisting in the preparation of Shows, Fittings, and Shoots, including sample preparation, shipments, packing lists, and tools;
Qualifications include:
- 1-2 years of experience in Product Development, preferably in Leathergoods/Accessories;
- Italian language skills are a plus but not mandatory;
- Knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines;
- Effective communication skills for internal and external teams;
- Flexible attitude and commitment to completing tasks.
