The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
The ideal candidate will have SAP experience for at least 66kV in either Onshore Wind Renewables, large scale infrastructure, or HV Electrical Projects and will be based in Scotland, willing to travel throughout the country, with experience in on-call shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for routine activities for HV switching operations up to and including 66kV.
- Schedule annual HV preventative maintenance for sites at convenient times, including for BOP and Wind Turbine HV equipment.
- Ensure works are completed to the highest safety standards.
- Write and complete risk assessments and method statements.
- Maintain stock to facilitate efficient repair turnarounds.
- Attend sites, including out of hours, to establish root causes and complete repairs safely and promptly.
Requirements:
- Experience with SAP for at least 66kV.
- Strong focus on Health and Safety with up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Experience in writing risk assessments and method statements for HV preventative maintenance.
- Experience conducting IR, Winding resistance, and TTR tests on transformers (50kVA - 3000 kVA) and VLF testing on HV cables.
- Experience locating underground cable faults and performing IR testing on underground cables.
- Experience operating and maintaining a variety of HV switchgear.
- Based in Scotland and able to work on an on-call, out-of-hours rota basis.
