Temporary to Permanent / Permanent

Monday to Friday 8am–4pm, 40 hours per week

£18–£20 per hour. Overtime available if desired — paid at time and a third during the week and time and a half at weekends.

We are looking for an experienced Welder to join a well-established local company working on a wide range of heavy-duty sheet metal projects. This is a hands-on permanent role suited to someone who enjoys varied fabrication work and takes pride in producing quality finished products.

Key Responsibilities of the Welder:
  • Sheet metal welding and fabrication
  • Welding panels, corner joints and boxes
  • Working on aluminium cabinets, doors and bespoke products
  • Heavy-duty fabrication work
  • Producing quality finished products
  • Supporting the wider workshop and production team
Key Requirements of the Welder:
  • Previous welding/fabrication experience is essential
  • Experience working with sheet metal
  • Confident with heavy-duty welding work
