Warehouse Manager Nottingham City Centre Outskirts Upto £45,000 Our client is an established and rapidly expanding business in Nottingham. We are looking for an exceptional Warehouse Manager with a minimum of 3 years proven experience successfully leading a warehouse team. The ideal candidate will take genuine pride in providing excellent service to loyal customers, in line with the core business value of excellence. You will stay abreast of department processes and procedures, and suggest and drive changes for increased efficiency and effectiveness. You will play an active part in the Operations Team by ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently. You will ensure all team members are protected and feel safe in the workplace by owning and managing a robust Health & Safety framework. Responsibilities: * Proactive management of the warehouse department, providing direction, day-to-day line management, support, and development. This will include areas such as stock control, goods in, order picking, packing and despatch. * Spearhead and lead on technology advancement within the warehouse including, ERP development and new robotic initiatives, ensuring that colleagues are supported and fully trained. * Full ownership and continuous improvement of all Warehouse processes, ensuring documentation is current and relevant. * Ownership of complaints relating to the warehouse operation including root cause analysis, identifying improvement actions and 360 feedback to the Customer Services team * Maintain good relationships with key contacts and service providers who support the warehouse operation. These include a range of suppliers; the IT support teams and colleagues. * Leading the Health & Safety team. Ensuring training is up to date and appropriately recorded, communication is clear and timely, and documentation is current and relevant * Assisting with developing and implementing service policies and explaining these to staff and colleagues.
