We’re looking for experienced Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers to join a busy and established local distribution operation. We have opportunities across both day and night shifts, carrying out collections and deliveries throughout the region and wider UK.
Key Responsibilities of the Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers:
- Carry out scheduled collections and deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Complete all required vehicle and delivery checks.
- Assist with loading and unloading where required.
- Follow all transport and Health & Safety procedures.
- Manage routes and delivery schedules effectively.
- Deal professionally with customers, colleagues and delivery sites.
- Report any issues promptly.
- Keep vehicles clean, safe and presentable.
Key Requirements of the Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers:
- Valid Class 1/C+E or Class 2/C licence.
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Ideally at least 12 months’ HGV driving experience.
- Reliable and safety-conscious approach.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Happy to undertake some physical duties where required.
- Flexibility around either day or night shifts depending on the role.
