We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join an established and growing business within the fire and security industry. This is a key office-based role with responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operational function, managing internal teams and ensuring service, maintenance and installation work is planned and delivered effectively. The successful candidate MUST have previous operational experience within the fire and security industry. Applications without direct fire and security industry experience cannot be considered.
Key Responsibilities of the Operations Manager:
- Managing and supporting the operations, scheduling and administration teams and coordinating engineer workloads across service, maintenance and installation work
- Ensuring jobs are correctly planned, resourced and completed within agreed timescales
- Monitoring work in progress and resolving operational delays or issues and working closely with engineers, project teams, sales and senior management
- Ensuring engineers have the correct information, materials and access requirements
- Monitoring operational performance
