We are working with a well-established local business who are looking for a Senior Lettings Consultant to join their busy High Wycombe team. This is a hands-on lettings role where you will be dealing with applicants, landlords and tenants, arranging and carrying out viewings, agreeing lets and helping to progress tenancies through to move in. You will also support the wider team with daily activity, new business opportunities and the smooth running of the office.
This would suit someone who already has lettings experience and is ready for a role with more responsibility, or someone already working at senior level who enjoys a busy, people-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Lettings Consultant:- Registering and qualifying applicants
- Arranging and carrying out property viewings
- Providing feedback to landlords and keeping records updated
- Negotiating offers and agreeing lets
- Progressing tenancies through referencing and move in
- Keeping applicants updated on suitable properties
- Supporting new business generation
- Calling out on new and re-let instructions
- Updating landlords on marketing, feedback and price changes where needed
- Helping with the day-to-day running of the office
- Supporting junior team members where required
- Assisting with morning meetings and daily targets
- Maintaining accurate records on the system
- Ensuring company processes and procedures are followed
- Minimum of 2 years’ lettings experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Confident telephone manner
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good local area knowledge
- Able to build strong relationships with landlords, tenants and applicants
- Organised and able to prioritise a busy workload
- Accurate with data entry and administration
- Able to remain calm and focused under pressure
- Positive, professional and motivated
- Happy to support and encourage other team members
