P/T Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: High Wycombe Salary: £20,300 per annum Hours: 9:00am – 3:00pm, 4 days per week Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time
We’re looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a friendly local business in High Wycombe.
This is a varied accounts role where you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day purchase ledger function and support wider finance administration across the business.
Key Responsibilities of the Purchase Ledger Clerk
- Managing the purchase ledger and processing supplier invoices.
- Coding and entering invoices accurately onto the accounting system.
- Preparing and arranging supplier and ad-hoc payments.
- Raising invoices and processing credits where required.
- Managing intercompany invoices and recharges.
- Processing employee expenses and arranging payments.
- Assisting with VAT and PAYE payments.
- Supporting cash flow reporting and general finance administration.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve account queries.
Key Requirements of the Purchase Ledger Clerk
- Previous Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable experience.
- Good general accounts and finance administration experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Able to prioritise workload and work accurately to deadlines.
- Experience using Sage would be ideal.
- Confident and friendly communication skills
