Permanent field-based role covering the High Wycombe and Aylesbury area, Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm with flexibility due to travel. £30k.

Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a Furniture Technician who takes pride in their work and is ready for a fresh opportunity with a company that values skill, trust, and quality over box-ticking. This is a full-time, field-based role, primarily covering customer sites in and around High Wycombe and Aylesbury, with occasional travel to the Basingstoke office.

As a Furniture Technician you will:

  • Carry out high-quality furniture repairs independently in customers’ homes
  • Leather and fabric repairs
  • Re-padding seat interiors and foam replacement
  • Repairing broken springs and structural frame damage
  • Stitching and general upholstery repairs
  • Diagnosing and repairing manual and electric recliner/sofa mechanisms
  • Managing your own daily workload and appointments
  • Communicating professionally with customers on-site
  • Delivering work to a consistently high standard you are proud to put your name to

Requirements of Furniture Technician:

  • Proven experience as a furniture technician or in a closely related trade
  • Confident fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Strong customer-facing skills
  • Ability to work independently in a mobile role
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Accept a background check
