Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a Furniture Technician who takes pride in their work and is ready for a fresh opportunity with a company that values skill, trust, and quality over box-ticking. This is a full-time, field-based role, primarily covering customer sites in and around High Wycombe and Aylesbury, with occasional travel to the Basingstoke office.
As a Furniture Technician you will:
- Carry out high-quality furniture repairs independently in customers’ homes
- Leather and fabric repairs
- Re-padding seat interiors and foam replacement
- Repairing broken springs and structural frame damage
- Stitching and general upholstery repairs
- Diagnosing and repairing manual and electric recliner/sofa mechanisms
- Managing your own daily workload and appointments
- Communicating professionally with customers on-site
- Delivering work to a consistently high standard you are proud to put your name to
Requirements of Furniture Technician:
- Proven experience as a furniture technician or in a closely related trade
- Confident fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Strong customer-facing skills
- Ability to work independently in a mobile role
- Full UK driving licence
- Accept a background check
