Location: High Wycombe / Field Based across Buckinghamshire and the Home Counties

Salary: £30,000 basic salary plus commission

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We’re looking for a confident and ambitious Field Sales Executive with at least one year’s sales experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. This role would ideally suit someone with around one to three years’ sales experience who wants to progress into a more independent field sales position. The role combines new business development, account management and customer meetings. You’ll manage your own territory and sales pipeline, with full training provided to help you develop the product and technical knowledge required.

Key Responsibilities of the Field Sales Executive:

  • Identify, qualify and follow up new business opportunities
  • Contact prospective customers by phone, email and face-to-face meetings
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts
  • Arrange and attend customer meetings and site visits
  • Prepare quotations and proposals and follow opportunities through to completion
  • Build strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and pipeline information
  • Manage your own diary, territory and sales activity
  • Work closely with the wider team to achieve sales targets
  • Attend occasional exhibitions, trade events and customer meetings

Key Requirements of the Field Sales Executive:

  • A minimum of one year’s experience within sales, business development or account management
  • Ideally around one to three years’ sales experience
  • Confident speaking with customers over the phone and face to face
  • Comfortable developing new business and following up sales opportunities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Well organised and able to manage your own diary and workload
  • Comfortable working towards targets
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical product knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence
