We are working with a growing ecommerce business who are looking for a commercially minded Digital Marketing Manager to take ownership of their digital marketing activity and help drive the next phase of growth. This is a broad and varied role with a strong focus on Paid Media and Email Marketing, whilst also contributing to wider customer acquisition, retention and ecommerce growth strategies. The successful candidate will enjoy both strategic planning and hands-on campaign management and will thrive within a fast-paced SME environment.
Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Manager:
- Managing and optimising Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns across platforms including Google Ads and Meta
- Planning, launching and monitoring digital marketing campaigns to maximise ROI and customer acquisition
- Managing campaign budgets, audience targeting, creative testing and performance reporting
- Developing and executing email marketing campaigns and customer lifecycle journeys using CRM platforms
- Building and optimising automated email flows including welcome, retention and customer re-engagement campaigns
- Analysing campaign performance and identifying opportunities to improve customer engagement and revenue
- Supporting wider ecommerce and digital growth initiatives
- Identifying opportunities to improve customer journeys, conversion rates and overall online performance
- Producing regular performance reports using digital analytics and marketing platforms
- Working closely with leadership teams and external partners to support commercial objectives
- Managing and coordinating external agencies and suppliers where required
Requirements of the Digital Marketing Manager:
- Previous experience managing Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Meta and digital advertising platforms
- Experience using email marketing and CRM systems
- Proven track record of driving customer acquisition and retention through digital channels
- Strong understanding of ecommerce performance metrics and digital reporting
- Experience analysing campaign performance and making data-driven decisions
- Commercial awareness with the ability to balance strategy and execution
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of marketing activity
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
